classkit_importImport new class method definitions from a file

Description

classkit_import ( string $filename ) : array

Note: This function cannot be used to manipulate the currently running (or chained) method.

Warning

This function is EXPERIMENTAL. The behaviour of this function, its name, and surrounding documentation may change without notice in a future release of PHP. This function should be used at your own risk.

Parameters

filename

The filename of the class method definitions to import

Return Values

Associative array of imported methods

Examples

Example #1 classkit_import() example

// requires newclass.php (see above)
class Example {
    function

$e = new Example();

// output original

// import replacement method
classkit_import('newclass.php');

// output imported

The above example will output:

foo!
bar!
